It's all about experiencing mindfulness at the MINDFUL CAFE!  

Mindfulness, according to Jon Kabat-Zinn, the godfather of mindfulness in the western world, is a non-judgemental, moment-to-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment. 


Enjoy a delicious breakfast for Two absolutely free with a purchase of a $100 gift certificate.  Choose from pancakes, crepes or waffles.  


This will be a feast for ALL your senses.  Your experience will start with hand washing.   We encourage you to close your eyes as you lather your hands and take in the aroma of the soap.  And as your hands get rinsed with  warm water from an  old fashion pitcher,  it will take you back in time.  You will then proceed to choosing an apron that you will wear as you are enjoying your meal.  We encourage you to take your time as you marvel over all the colourful patterns.  As you get seated, each of you will be given a booklet with specific instructions how to  consume your meal mindfully.  As you savour every bite, your mind might wander to beautiful surrounds such as  colourful decor, evergreen trees, fire roaring in  the woodstove and peaceful melodies of birds chirping.  Gently  and non-judgmentally, bring your focus back to eating.  We encourage you  to enjoy a few minutes in silence as your focus goes directly to your experience of eating.  Find out all there is to know about mindful eating at the MINDFUL CAFE!
